The Mattapoisett Free Public Library is hosting a two-part photographer presentation on Jan. 28 and Feb. 4.

Local photographer Richard Van Inwegen will teach participants how to think before shooting – often the difference between a snapchat and a photograph. The course will discuss how pre-shot decisions impact camera settings and shooting, as well as overriding concepts, file formats, the holy trinity of exposure (aperture, speed and ISO settings) and focus and composition.
