Police recover marijuana paraphernalia at home of Mattapoisett teen
There are charges pending against 17-year-old Kurt Kroninger after a month-long investigation by the Mattapoisett Police resulted in marijuana paraphernalia being recovered from the teen's home.
Sgt. Jason King and Officer Scott Leblanc conducted surveillance on Kroninger and his residence, located at 6 Bayberry Lane in Mattapoisett.
The officers observed multiple hand-to-hand drug transactions at Kroninger's residence, according to police reports.
While executing the search warrant, individuals arrived at the residence in a vehicle with the intent to purchase marijuana from Kroninger. These individuals were questioned further by officers and later released, according to police reports.
A search of the residence produced approximately one ounce of marijuana, synthetic marijuana, packaging material, drug paraphernalia and a scale.
Fairhaven Police Detectives, Plymouth County Sheriffs K-9 Unit and members of the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office South Coast Anti-Crime Task Force assisted with the execution of the search warrant.
Charges are pending further investigation at this time, according to police reports.
