Presentation on Nepal set for Jan. 16

On Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. Marion’s Sally Hunsdorfer will share stories on her experiences traveling in Nepal. Hunsdorfer is a founding member of the Marion Institute through which she started the “Himalayan Project.” The initiative encourages cultural preservation of indigenous people of the Himalaya through education, community development and social outreach.

Sponsored by the Sippican Historical Society and the Elizabeth Taber Library, the presentation is free and open to the public, with no reservations required. It will be held in the Marion Music Hall at 164 Front St. For more information call 508-748-1116.
