A wide variety of goods will be available Saturday (Oct. 12) when Mattapoisett Friends Meeting House holds its annual flea market/yard sale.

The event will be held, rain or shine, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the meeting house grounds, 103 Marion Road (Rte. 6.)

Church tables and those of vendors will feature thousands of items, including books, toys, kitchenware, paper, and other collectibles. Some one-of-a-kind items donated include a wooden artist’s easel complete with more than 20 tubes of paint, a bag of golf clubs, and a James A. Farley autographed letter.

Proceeds from this sale will benefit the restoration of the interior of the historic 1827 meeting house.
