A rabies clinic for cats and dogs will be held Sunday Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Mattapoisett Fire Station. The fee is $12 per animal. Proceeds will go to local charitable organizations. Cats must be in cat carriers and dogs must be leashed.

The Mattapoisett Board of Health, Capeway Veterinary Hospital and Natural Resource Department are sponsoring the clinic.
