A rabies clinic for cats and dogs will be held at the Mattapoisett Fire Station on Route 6, Sunday, March 3, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The fee is $12 per animal.All cats and dogs must be properly restrained: cats must be in carriers and dogs on a leash.

Non-residents may also bring their pets.

Licensing will also be available for pets: $12 for male and female pets and $9 for spayed or neutered animals. Licenses are also available at the Town Clerk's office at Town Hall.

Your pet must have a current rabies certificate on file before a license will be issued. If the pet owner is 70 years or above in age, the license fee is waived, but all regulations apply.
