Rochester officials announced that due to the holiday, regular curbside recycling service would not occur on Thursday, July 4. Recycling pick-up resumes the following week on July 11.

Also, trash service will be postponed from Friday, July 5 to Saturday, July 6. Town Administrator Richard LaCamera noted Town Hall will be closed on Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5.
