St. Philip's Episcopal Church will hold its final summer service on Sunday, Sept. 4. Services using the 1928 Book of Common Prayer are at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

On Sunday, Sept. 4, Rev. Jeffrey Paul Cave, honorary assistant, Church of Our Savior in Atlanta, Georgia will officiate. This year marks Rev. Cave’s 50th anniversary as a priest.

He is the author of “Church at the Town Beach” about St. Philip’s Episcopal Church.

The church is adjacent to Town Beach.
