ROCHESTER — The town’s cultural council has changed its application dates to reflect state budget uncertainty due to the coronavirus pandemic. Application submissions will now begin Oct. 1 and last through through Nov. 16. Awardees will be announced in December.

Many current grant recipients have had to alter their original proposals and use virtual format options, reorganize to comply with social distancing or postpone their events awaiting parameters from Gov. Baker. But the Mass Cultural Council will continue to support a variety of artistic, scientific and humanitarian  projects for the state’s communities.
