To the editor:

Help me understand why, in this day and age you report on the first place winner, small division (whatever that means???) who hooked a frog, had it swallow the hook and then tossed this live creature in the air to catch in a net.

Is this considered entertainment? Sport? Or what?

How primitive that this is allowed and that you saw fit to report it!!!!

I think it is important to highlight animal cruelty in any form.

I also think it important to note that is was condoned by the organizers of the event and that the reporting was factual and impassive as to the consequences, implying that it was an "OK" thing to do and it is not.

You have a responsibility as a reporter to understand the Impact of your article.
