Rochester has lone Tri-Town covid case
For the second straight week, only one new case of covid was reported in the Tri-Town, this time occurring in Rochester.
Despite the case, all three towns remain “gray” on the state’s covid risk map, meaning each town has under 10 ongoing cases.
Vaccination rates saw a slight increase in Marion but held steady in the other two towns in the week leading up to July 1.
74% of Marion residents are fully vaccinated for covid, up 1%. 74% are fully vaccinated in Mattapoisett and 55% are in Rochester.
82% of Marion and 81% Mattapoisett residents have one dose of a covid vaccine, up 1% for Marion and steady for Mattapoisett. Rochester held steady for the third straight week, with 60% of residents having at least one dose.
