Rochester historical exhibit opens Oct. 2

ROCHESTER — The Rochester Historical Society will host a new exhibit on Oct. 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The exhibit, “Curator's Show Part II: Treasures from the Museum,” will feature tools and military items among other objects.

In addition, there will be a cranberry bake sale, fresh cranberries from the Hartley-Rhodes bog, an honor salute by the Wareham Minutemen Militia, a cemetery tour highlighting the veterans buried in the adjoining cemetery and an outhouse tour.

There will also be opportunities to purchase clothing, books and other Rochester items.
