The Rochester Historical Society has provided additional details about its 50th anniversary fundraiser. The Rochester Historical Society was incorporated in 1969 with the help and guidance of a number of Rochester residents who wanted to preserve its history.

The event will be Saturday Sept. 14 at the Rochester Council on Aging at 67 Dexter lane from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

The celebration and fundraising event will include a walk down memory lane, lots of stories, a lunch, display of historical items, a raffle, Rochester Historical Society items for sale and more. 

Admission is $20, which includes the cost of lunch. All reservations must be received by August 26. To reserve a spot, send a check made out and mailed to RHS PO Box 322, Rochester, MA, 02770. For  any questions, call 508-961-7401.
