On Wednesday, Sept. 16, the Rochester Historical Society will honor Police and Fire Department members by presenting the history of the departments.

The public is welcome to learn about Rochester history and meet some of the current department members. The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the East Rochester Church/Museum, 355 County Road.
