Rochester residents gather for the annual Christmas Tree lighting

With music provided by the Rochester Memorial School band and holiday favorites sung by the school's chorus, Rochester residents braved a foggy night for the annual start of the Christmas festivities.
Many gathered on Dec. 5 to witness the lighting of the Town Hall Christmas Tree, sing a few carols along the way and to chat with Santa himself, who traded in his sleigh for a fire engine.
