Rochester sets spring town meeting

Jan 7, 2019

ROCHESTER — On the recommendation of Town Administrator Suzanne Szyndlar, Selectmen voted at the board's Jan. 7 meeting to set the date for a spring Town Meeting for Monday, May 20 in Rochester Memorial School, 16 Pine St.

Szyndlar said that the warrant could be a “good” size, and that the warrant will not close until March 14 at 4 p.m. It is not clear what will be on the warrant at this time, but potential issues may include defining the permitting process for recreational marijuana and drafting a bylaw which would allow the town to accept a specific housing development.

See Town Clerk Naida Parker for information on how to submit a petitioned warrant article.
