After several Rochester Memorial School students requested a school newspaper, two teachers stepped up to help the kids form the Digital News Club.

“We want to incorporate it into more of the digital age,” said Principal Derek Medeiros.

Students have been conducting video interviews of various people at RMS, including Medeiros, and have set themselves up as the news anchors.

“The goal for us is to get some of these episodes fine-tuned,” Medeiros said. “The kids really want to edit it and put it out.”

The club meets each Wednesday and is led by Karen DellaCioppa and James Sullivan.
