Rochester Zoning Board of Appeals sees more changes
The Rochester Zoning Board of Appeals continues to see membership changes. Monday night’s Board of Selectmen meeting discussed the resignations of two ZBA members, two members moving up to full-member status and a new associate appointment.
Peter Mathieu, vice chairman/chairman, and Scott Muller, vice chairman, submitted resignation letters this month, citing time conflicts with other commitments. Mathieu’s resignation became effective Sept. 15, while Muller will stay on the Board through Oct. 21. Mathieu has been on the board for more than 10 years.
Richard Cutler, a member for 13 years previously, was appointed to full-member status along with Davis Sullivan. Thomas Flynn was newly appointed an associate to the Board.
The ZBA encountered a shake-up in staff mid-August after the resignation of Chairman Richard Manning. Manning cited frustration with and lack of cooperation from Town Clerk Naida Parker for his decision to resign.
