Rochester native Jennel Garcia is on her way to reality talent TV show glory.

On Thursday, Garcia was chosen as one of the final 12 contestants on FOX's "The X Factor."

Garcia sang a cover of Motley Crue's "Home Sweet Home" on Wednesday night, which garnered the 18-year-old praise from the judges.

Of Garcia's singing, judge Simon Cowell said, "I absolutely love you."

The remaining 12 will face off again next Wednesday night. The winner of the competition will receive a $5 million recording contract.
