Save the date for the Mattapoisett Women’s Club’s biennial garden tour “Down by the Bay” on Saturday, June 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine.

Nine gardens will be featured, including gardens in the Bay Club, seaside and village. A variety of formal, informal, cottage gardens and a working daylily farm are on the tour.

A buffet luncheon will be served at the Bay Club, an Audubon Sanctuary, on the terrace. Reserve luncheon tickets early. No luncheon tickets will be sold on the day of the tour. June 23 is the last day to purchase a lunch ticket.

Advance tickets will be sold at the following shops beginning May 3: The Bookstall in Marion, Isabelles, Pen & Pendulum, Town Wharf General Store, and Ying Dynasty Restaurant in Mattapoisett. Advance tickets are $15 for the tour only, and $40 for the tour and luncheon. Tickets on the day of the event will be $18.

Proceeds go to the club's scholarship fund for local students.
