The Old Rochester Regional School District is offering a variety of playgroup programs for young children and their parents this fall.

The Infant and Toddler Social Group will be at Loft School, 124 Front Street in Marion on Saturday Mornings from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. This program will run from Oct. 19 to Nov. 23. The Preschool Ready Playgroup at Old Hammondtown School meets on Tuesdays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. This program is intended for children ages 3 to 5 and their parents. It started on Sept. 24 and will continue to Oct. 29. This program allows preschoolers to practice their school readiness, and social skills in a classroom environment. Zumbini classes for children at least six months old and their parents will be held at Rochester Memorial School on Thursdays from 4 to 4:45 p.m. The program will run from Oct. 10 to Nov. 21. Zumbini  combines music, dance and educational tools for 45 minutes of “can’t-stop, won’t-stop bonding, learning, and fun.” It was created by Zumba and BabyFirst for kids ages 0-4 .
