The New Bedford Sea Chantey Chorus will visit the Mattapoisett Museum and Carriage House, 5 Church Street, on Sunday, April 21 at 2 p.m. to serenade their audience with chanteys and songs that reflect our rich maritime heritage.

The more than 40 member chorus’ repertoire includes the chanteys (work songs) of Yankee sailors and whalers, along with the ballads and ditties of global mariners and coastwise fisherfolk in North America, the Cape Verde Islands, and the British Isles.
