The Mattapoisett Lions Club will join other area Lions Clubs and the YMCA Southcoast for a Share the Harvest event on May 21 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Help fill local food pantries by planting seeds, transplanting seedlings and harvesting vegetables. All ages may attend.

Registration is free on the day of the event. There will be T-shirts, hamburgers, hot dogs and soda while it lasts.

The event is at 276 Gulf Road, South Dartmouth.
