Shirley G. (Blasenak) Cronan, 81 of North Easton died Jan. 9 peacefully at home.

She was the wife of the late Paul H. Cronan.

Born in Norwood, the daughter of the late Werner H. and Lillian M. (Garland) Blasenak, she lived in Walpole and Mattapoisett most of her life before moving to North Easton.
She was a communicant of Holy Cross Church in South Easton.

She enjoyed knitting, gardening and crafts.

Survivors include her two sons, Michael Cronan of Bellgrade, Montana and Daniel Cronan of Marion; and several cousins.

Her graveside service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Mattapoisett. Visiting hours are omitted. Arrangements are with the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., Route 6, Mattapoisett. For online guestbook, visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
