The Mattapoisett Library's winter reading program for children in grades three to six began Jan. 24 and ends April 30.

Kids can sign up any time to read books contending for the Quahog Book Awards. Library staff has chosen five books for each grade.

By participating, children can earn rewards and a free book, participate in a sleepover at the library, come to game nights, win prizes, enjoy a pizza party and vote for their favorite book.
