Sippican Healthcare Center brings back Christmas party

Dec 21, 2021

MARION — After a year away during covid, the Sippican Healthcare Center brought back its annual Residents and Family Christmas Party on Tuesday, Dec. 21, featuring refreshments, live holiday piano music and a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

“It feels wonderful and rewarding [to be back],” said Activity Director Anne O’Connell-Bishop. “We feel so blessed to be able to provide this to our residents.”

Sippican Healthcare Center is a long term care and rehabilitation facility in Marion.

The halls of the facility were decked with festive decorations and staff members adorned the doors of their offices with holiday-themed designs in advance of the event.

“The staff have been doing great things all month to keep everyone’s spirits up,” said O’Connell-Bishop.

Piano music, played by Jeff Dunn, gave the event a joyous feeling and really tied the whole thing together with a bow.
