The first Sippican Schooner 5K Fun Run (sponsored by the Volunteers at Sippican Elementary) is scheduled for Sunday, May 5 at 10:15 am. All proceeds will benefit the many enrichment programs that are offered throughout the school year. The starting line will be in front of Tabor Academy's Baxter House on Front Street and the finish line at Hoyt Field.

Registration may be done online at: http://millenniumreg.com/vase-sippican-schooner-5k-fun-run. Applications may also be mailed to: V.A.S.E. at Sippican School, 16 Spring St., Marion, MA, 02738. Registration is $15 per runner, checks made payable to V.A.S.E. The registration deadline is May 1. After May 1, and on the day of the race, the registration fee is $20 per person. The first 300 registered are guaranteed a t-shirt. Sponsors for the race are also welcome.
