Sippican Woman's Club to host 'overcoming procrastination' talk Sept. 14
The Sippican Woman’s Club opens its fall season with a program focusing on “Overcoming Procrastination” on Friday, September 14.
Procrastination is a huge problem for many people, and can eat away at both your productivity and your self-esteem. Learn to understand the major causes of your procrastination and simple solutions for overcoming each type in order to become more effective at both work and home.
The presenter is Maryann Murphy, MSW, who is a professional organizer and time management consultant. She holds a certificate as Specialist in Chronic Disorganization from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization. She is also the Vice-President for membership of the Marion Toastmaster’s Club.
The Sippican Woman’s Club meets on the second Friday of each month, at 12:30 p.m. at Handy’s Tavern located at 152 Front Street in Marion. Each program begins with a finger food luncheon. Guests and new members are always welcome.
