MARION — Countless students have received scholarships in the last 73 years from the Sippican Women’s Club to help them afford postsecondary education. The club is looking to continue the tradition this spring and is seeking donations for its “Dollars for Scholars” fund.

Established in 1947, the scholarship programs gives out an average $14,000 to 16 students every year.

Tax-deductible donations made payable to Sippican Woman’s Club can be sent to SWC Dollars for Scholars, P.O. Box 121, Marion, MA 02738, or given on the club’s website at sippicanwomansclub.org/scholars/
