The St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Rita’s Parish will sponsor a spaghetti and meatball dinner and social on Saturday Nov. 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will be held at VFW Post 2425 in Marion. Tickets cost $10 for adults; $5 for children under the age of 12. Adult beverages will be available at an additional charge. There will be a door prize and raffle. The society provides assistance to residents. The society is currently helping area families by providing food boxes at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter; assisting with utility, housing and medical bills, and other support. One hundred percent of the funds raised at the dinner will go to those in need.
