The St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Rita’s Parish is sponsoring an authentic Italian spaghetti and meatball dinner and social on Saturday, Oct. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. It will be held in the VFW Post 2425 on Route 6 in Marion. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 12. The meal includes salad, beverage and dessert. There will be door prizes. Alcoholic beverages will be available for an additional charge.

The St. Vincent De Paul Society provides assistance to those in need on a non-sectarian basis. The society is helping a number of families in the area, providing food boxes at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, assistance with utility, housing and medical bills and other support as needed. One hundred percent of the funds raised go to those in need.
