Speakeasy cabaret with Dixie Diehards at Art Center
On Saturday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m., the Marion Art Center will feature the Dixie Diehards Jazz Band. Located at the corner of Main Street and 80 Pleasant St., theater will be transformed into a speakeasy of the 1920s. The audience is invited to come dressed in period attire. Since the 20s was the height of prohibition, when patrons make a reservation, they will also obtain a password for entry into the club.
The Dixie Diehards will perform the music that defined the Age of Jazz.
The theater will be transformed into a typical dance club of the ‘20s, featuring cabaret seating, and BYO refreshments. Reservations are recommended. Cabaret tables may be reserved for a minimum party of four.
