Sponsors still needed for Marion Town Party

The annual Marion Town Party will be held on Saturday, Aug. 27 (rain date is Sunday) on the grounds of the Town House, 2 Spring St. Festivities begin at 4 p.m. This year’s party is dedicated to the Benjamin D. Cushing VFW Post 2425 and its members.

The committee would like to thank Tabor Academy for being the Platinum Sponsor of this year’s party. The committee also thanks Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank for being the Silver Sponsor and Chapman, Cole & Gleason for being the Bronze Sponsor of this year’s party.

Sponsorships are still being sought. All sponsors will have their business logo listed in the ad booklet as well as on the Marion Town Party Facebook page.

Proceeds will be distributed between the Marion Firefighters Association and Marion Recreation to benefit local community needs.

The event will feature a rock climbing wall, inflatable games for kids, music, dancing and a bonfire

There will be food for sale, and the Marion Social Club will sell beverages.

Food, services, cash and in-kind donations from the community are needed to help underwrite the event. All contributions are tax deductible.
