MARION — St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church in Marion retold the classic Christmas story “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and put on a performance of “The Nativity Story” on Sunday, Dec. 17 with the help of 40 children and youth from preschoolers to high schoolers. 

“They shared the true meaning of Christmas with music, joy and fun for everyone present,” said the church in a press release. “An offering was collected to raise money for the Youth Group Mission Trip to the Navajo Nation, New Mexico planned for June 2024.”
