Stanley (Stan) R. King, 74,  of Wareham passed away on March 15, 2018.

Stan was a caretaker at the Hirshman Estate, which he enjoyed very much before he retired.

He enjoyed playing cards with his good friends Jim and George.

Stan is survived by his two daughters Maureen Matte of Mattapoisett, MA and Shelly (Paul) Shaw of Pittsburg, NH,  step-son Brad of New Hampshire, and sisters Donna Chase and Diane Elwell.

He is also survived by five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Stan was predeceased by his wife Mickey King, daughter Lindalee Horgan, mother Helen Chase and sister Bonnie Cole.

A celebration of Stanley’s life will be at a later date.
