The presidential election in November may be dwarfing thought of any other election, but there's another opportunity to go to the polls before casting a vote for the next leader of the free world.

On Thursdsay, Sept. 8, Massachusetts will hold its state primary from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. In Mattapoisett the polls are at Old Hammondtown School on Shaw Street; in Rochester at the Council on Aging on Dexter Lane; and in Marion at the VFW on Route 6.
