MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Democratic Town Committee has announced its next meeting, which is open to the general public.

The meeting will be held Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the downstairs reading room of the Mattapoisett Free Public Library.

Mark Sylvia, Democratic candidate for the 10th Bristol State Representative seat from Fairhaven, will speak at the meeting.

“We encourage you to bring family, friends, neighbors and independent/unenrolled voters to hear Mark speak and learn his policy positions and priorities for our District,” an announcement from the Mattapoisett Democratic Town Committee said.
