Jun 2, 2024

MATTAPOISETT — Old Rochester Community Television each year honors a graduating senior from the Old Rochester Regional High School video production program with the “Outstanding Video Production Student Award.”

Amalia Dupre was named the recipient of the award for 2024.

Dupre “showed a great commitment to the ORCTV video production educational program during the past two school years as she balanced school work, studio work, extracurricular activities and after school employment,” an ORCTV press release said.

The $1000 award assists students as they move on to study video production or film in college. It is named in the memory of ORCTV’s first president Kenneth J. Souza.

Those who would like to contribute to the Ken Souza Scholarship fund can send a check to ORCTV at 135 Marion Road, Mattapoisett, MA 02739 and write “Ken Souza Scholarship Award” in the memo space. The contribution is tax deductible as ORCTV is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization.
