Rochester Memorial School’s 32-member Jazz Band performed at the Rochester Senior Center June 14, drawing applause from the seniors. Among the jazz favorites performed by the band under the direction of Chris Williamson: Sentimental Journey, Woodchopper’s Ball and Route 66. Students also improvised for part of the performance. Following the show students and seniors enjoyed an inter-generational barbecue.
