MARION — On May 31 at 10 a.m., Tabor Academy will graduate 140 students from around the country and around the world.

Some of the graduates, who hail from 17 states and 11 countries, will receive scholarship awards and book prizes. The service will take place under a huge tent with views to Sippican Harbor.

The Commencement Speaker will be Kelli McSweeny, a Marion resident and retiring English teacher. Commencement will also feature musical performances and student speakers, including Marion’s Owen Sughrue.

Over 2000 well-wishers, family, friends, and alumni will be on hand to send the class off.
