Take an arbor walk with Marion tree warden
Sep 11, 2015
The Elizabeth Taber Library and MOBY, My Own BackYard, an outdoor science program for students in grades three to eight, present an arbor walk in Marion Village on Wednesday, Sept. 30 from 3 to 4 p.m. The walk will begin at the library.
Marion Tree Warden Margie Baldwin will conduct the walking tour to explore the different trees throughout town.
Kids will learn to identify the differences between species of trees, examine different types of trees that grow in this area and explore the ways that the environment and insects affect trees.
This program is offered free of charge to the public and is federally funded with grants through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
