MARION — Turn your smartphone into an “artphone” at the Marion Natural History Museum’s Naturally Artistic program. Join the museum on Wednesday, March 22 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and explore the basics of nature photography from photo composition, natural lighting, textures and more. No matter your background — budding photographers and seasoned shutterbugs alike will find something to help capture moments that become treasured memories.

About the instructor: Marion Natural History Museum Board Member and lifelong artist Karen Alves has taught at Bridgewater State University for 16 years where her curriculum and teaching style helped hundreds of students create new career paths for themselves so they could love what they do. She has also taught at Tabor Academy and in small groups. She adores working with children.
