Saturday, Feb. 1 is Take Your Child to the Library Day at the Mattapoisett Library.

There will be activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. including a scavenger hunt, story walk, chess and Legos, crafts and a raffle.

At 11 a.m., kids can read to Sadie the dog. At 1 p.m. the Junior Friends of the Library will show the movie “Up.” Popcorn will be provided.
