Plumb Library is hosting “Take Your Child to the Library Day” on Saturday, Feb. 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The library will host an afternoon of activities and guests designed to help families get to know the library. Vinny Lovegrove from the Toe Jam Puppet Band will perform from 11 a.m. to noon. there will be fortunetelling with Hogwarts Professor Trelawney from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Alice visits from Wonderland from noon to 1 p.m.

The event will also feature a drawing for a family pass to Buttonwood Park and coupons for free admission to Legoland (10 and under). During the event, families can try out the library’s snowshoes (weather permitting), apply for a library card or replace a lost one for free, check out the digital services (music, classes and books), and get information on the library’s book clubs and school vacation activities.
