Friday, Feb. 21
Learn to craft with yarn.

The Mattapoisett Free Public Library will host a Fiber Fun Group for children 8 and up to learn knitting and crochet  at 3:30 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 23
Go skating.

Marion Recreation will host an open skate from noon to 2 p.m. at Tabor’s Travis Roy Rink. The skate costs $5 per person.

Monday, Feb. 24
Learn about marijuana.

The Benjamin D. Cushing Community Center will host a lecture on the science of cannabinoids at 12:30 p.m. Thomas Davenport from Verilife will cover the science of cannabinoids, terpenes, the many forms of ingestion and its uses. He will share information about the medical marijuana program. Participants may bring questions.

Eat a special luncheon.

The Rochester Senior Center will hold a special luncheon at noon. This homemade meal will be prepared by Hanna Milhench and friends. Advanced sign-up and a donation of $5 are necessary to ensure there is enough food for everyone.
