Tickets available for Art Center production 'Enchanted April'

Mar 9, 2017

Tickets for the upcoming Marion Art Center production “Enchanted April” are currently available.

The period dramedy was a 2003 Tony Award nominee for best play. The play is based on a novel by Elizabeth von Arnim and is about two unhappy London housewives who rent a villa in Italy for a ladies-only retreat. To help pay for the trip the two women recruit a pair of difficult upper-class women. While in Italy the four women clash before bonding – until men once again upset the balance.

The play opens on March 31 at 7:30 p.m. It will also be performed April 1 at 7:30 p.m., April 2 at 2:30 p.m., April 7 at 7:30 p.m., April 8 at 7:30 p.m. and April 9 at 2:30 p.m.

The production is directed by Kath Fishman.

Tickets are $15 for art center members and $18 for non-members. Reservations and holds cannot be accommodated, but tickets can be made both in person or by calling the art center during regular gallery hours: Tuesday-Friday 1-5 p.m. and Saturday 10-2 p.m. For more information, call the Marion Art Center at 508-748-1266.
