The Annual Marion Social Club barbecue dinner for elders will be held on Aug. 16 at 1 p.m. The event starts at noon with door prizes for everyone. Marion residents may bring one guest. No take out meals are allowed, but meals will be delivered to the homebound. Transportation will be provided by the Council on Aging. The cost for the event is 50 cents. Tickets are available at the Council on Aging. The Social Club is located at 44 Pumping Station Road.
