Travel to Cuba with the Sippican Lands Trust

Sippican Lands Trust and Cuba Up Close will offer a Sippican Lands Trust Cuba Tour this year from Saturday, Nov. 2 to Saturday, Nov. 9. This trip will feature eight days and seven nights exploring Cuba and its people, history, architecture, food, and culture.

The tour will travel to Old Havana, visit the National Museum of Natural History, the beaches of Cayo Jutias and have a private tour of the museum of fine arts.

Local tour guides will offer an insights into the art, music, food and culture of Cuba. The trip itinerary also includes an opportunity to learn more about the local conservation initiatives in Cuba. Trip participants will meet a former Cuban Minister of Agriculture and examine the history of agriculture and land use in Cuba.

The tour will cost $3,900, airfare not included, which includes a partial donation to Sippican Lands Trust to support their land conservation work.

Cuba Up Close will prepare and organize the documentation to enter Cuba and to travel within the country. The trip starts with a round trip flight on Jet Blue from Boston to Havana. Breakfast, lunch, hotel accommodations, ground transportation and airport transfers are included as part of this trip package. Additional expenses include passport fees, travel visas, dinners, alcohol, gifts, gratuities and airfare.
