The Tri-County Symphonic band has announced the schedule for its 63rd season.

The season will kick off on Sunday, Oct. 27 with “A European Adventure,” which combines works from Cape Cod composer Thomas Borning and “venerable works that form the basis of the symphonic band repertoire,” read a press release.

A piece composed by Borning titled “Lift Off” will make its world premiere at the concert. The piece was commissioned by the Tri-County Symphonic Band.

The show will also include pieces by Karel Husa, Norman Dello Joio, Frank Ticheli and Chick Corea.

Future shows include a Dec. 8 children’s concert, a tribute to the John Philip Souza Band on Feb. 2, 2025, “Jazz through the Decades” on March 16, 2025 and the annual Pops Concert on June 8, 2025.

The season “is testament to the organization’s commitment to bring quality live music to the community,” read the release.
