The Tri-town sent thirteen 12-year-old boys to Cooperstown, New York’s Dreams Park for a national tournament  from July 27 to Aug. 3 with the Buzzards Bay Cooperstown baseball team.

Playing teams from across the country, the boys faced squads from New York, Alabama North Carolina, California, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin. They ended with a record of 3-3 in pool play, placing 47th out of 104 teams.

The Bulldogs won a dramatic 6-5 extra innings “walk off” victory against the Kenston, Ohio Bombers in their first playoff game. They lost in the regional round to the 17th seeded Caba Alabama Aces. 

The 2020 team is already planning its trip.
